Unlike other student success organizations, Believers Education Collaborative, LLC, is committed to Christ first, and succeeding in school second. We make it our business to glorify God in all we do, including in our service to you and your child.

 

Our mission is to educate, equip, and exhort you and your middle school and high school children to pursue student success for God's glory through our signature, Believers Student Success Program, our Speaking Engagements, Strategy Calls, Educational Resources, and Private Facebook Group. Our vision is to be the premier student success authority for believers around the world!

We offer the perfect recipe to accomplish student success for God's glory through our integrated approach to succeeding in school. We've got what it takes to create a paradigm shift in the body of Christ around student success, and we want to partner with you to make it happen!

Our Process

Here’s how we will guide you and your child to succeed in school for God’s glory:
 
  • We help you to fortify your child's relationship with God through prayer, devotional time, and scriptures as it relates to student success.
     
  • We empower you to participate in a committed community of believing parents and their children who are focused on obtaining student success from a biblical perspective.
     
  • We teach you and your child to develop key student success skills, ensure a smooth educational transition from one grade to the next, and prepare them for college and career success while providing practical, actionable resources and expert guidance.
     
  • We walk you through how to shift your and your child’s mindset about what it means to pursue student success for God’s glory.

Meet Deandra Smith

Growing up as a preacher’s kid, or "PK," my siblings and I attended church nearly every time the doors were open. As a matter of fact, some of my most memorable experiences in the church included participating in Vacation Bible School (VBS) and other educational enrichment programs throughout the school year. It is here where my love for learning was further developed. 

   
As the founder of Believers Education Collaborative, LLC, my ultimate goal is to use the unique gifts that God has given me to be the solution that we as the body of Christ are looking for–to provide biblically-based, quality educational services and resources for middle and high school youth, and their parents, and to do it all for the glory of God! Because God has already provided everything that we need in life, instead of looking at the world to define what student success should look like for believers, we need to look to Christ, and that's what we aim to do!


With over 10 years of experience mentoring, advising, and coaching students, I have the expertise to guide your child as they seek to thrive and keep God first in their educational journey. Please know that your child's success is my success.


Oh, and one last thing about my credentials in case you were wondering. Earlier in my introduction, I mentioned the degrees that I earned, but didn't tell you where I went to school. I earned a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from the illustrious University of Central Florida, and an M.A. in Higher Education from the distinguished University of Arizona.

 

Hmm. What other things might you want to know about me? I love the Lord with all my heart! My husband and I live in Alexandria, VA, with our two children, and I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I also love to read and exercise, was a huge band geek in school! 

 

And I'll throw this fun fact in for free: I can name all 66 books of the Bible in 30 seconds! Whew!
